Noora Peiponen

I was born in Jyväskylä but I've moved multiple times during my life. This is the reason why I never created this sense of belonging in any certain place. And that is something that has grown on me and taught me to love the uncertainty. My love towards traveling has taken me to the edge of the world and back. I feel most alive while on the road. And this is something that I hope to be able to do in the future as well.

When it comes to my art I love experimenting and trying different styles and ways of doing things. In my photographs I mainly focus on street- and experimental photography, but I also like to take photos of nature, animals, our surrounding world, and everything in between.

My art deals with humanity, human mind, our surrounding world and cultures, my inner world, and different perspectives in life. Everything that we experience during our lifetime shapes the way we see the world. This is something that inspires me and makes me want to understand more about others, and myself.

I am advocate of human rights and equality. I hope to be able to work for human rights, and especially women's rights, in the future. I also dream about working as a photojournalist, or try to make the world a better place some other way. But in the end I don't know what the future holds, and that is the best part of it.
